My recent meal was truly appalling, a visual disappointment from the moment it arrived. The chicken, unfortunately, was charred beyond recognition, practically burnt to a crisp. As for the chips and gravy, the gravy itself was particularly concerning; I honestly shudder to imagine its source. To top it off, the accompanying bread was incredibly dry, mirroring the overcooked state of the chicken.

There's certainly no shortage of space here, which is always a relief, and the option to use a snap account is a definite convenience. While the meals served were genuinely tasty, I did feel the cost was a little steep. On the bright side, having supermarkets within easy walking distance is incredibly practical.

This truck stop is conveniently situated just off the motorway, providing a welcome break. The showers are perfectly decent, there's good food on offer, and ample parking is readily available for all visitors.

For just £3, I had the most incredibly powerful shower I've ever experienced; it genuinely felt like a massage. The cafe also offered a fantastic selection of food, with plenty of choices available for a vegetarian, which was a pleasant surprise. Beyond the amenities, the staff were truly great, especially the tattooed woman serving, who provided some absolutely top-notch banter throughout my visit.

I'm consistently impressed with the quality here; the food is always delicious and comes at a very fair price. They truly maintain an excellent standard.

My experience here was a bit of a mixed bag, largely due to the significant potholes that unfortunately make navigating the truck parking area quite challenging. The fuel pumps also seem rather dated and their operation can be inconsistent, which is a minor inconvenience. On the positive side, I found the shop's prices to be quite fair, and I definitely noticed a marked improvement in the staff's demeanor; they were much friendlier than during my previous visit. It's also clear the place has undergone some redecoration, which is a nice touch.

My £3.65 breakfast at this stop was quite uninspiring, failing to meet even basic expectations. It struck me that Stobart seems far more invested in its corporate branding than in the actual welfare and satisfaction of its paying customers. Reflecting on it, I truly wish I had opted to divert my journey up to Longtown instead.

What a truly excellent truck stop this is to visit. I've found plenty of room for overnight parking here, which is always a relief. I often stop specifically to complete a changeover right by the fuel pumps, and I really appreciate how brightly lit that area remains throughout the night. The shop is incredibly convenient, operating 24 hours a day and consistently well-stocked with everything a truck driver could possibly require. On top of all that, the toilet facilities are consistently clean, making for a comfortable stop.
